Food is ALWAYS on point! I've been coming here for about 2 years and i've never been disappointed. Customer service is great, location is convenient and the ambiance of being Black/family owned makes me appreciate spending my money with this business!

This place is wonderful. The customer service is top notch, and food is very tasty. If you choose to go, make sure you go early, food gets sold out quickly.
My favorite soul food spot from the moment i was told about this place and tried it. The service is amazing every time i call to place my order and it is ready by the time i get there . I hope the open more locations cause no soul spots are coming close to the flavor and taste in their food. Catfish and turkey wings are my favorite sometimes i get both cause it hard to pick just one and the candied yams are a must literally!! The Mac and cheese so cheesy and perfectly seasoned. Try to order early if you can because their food sells out quick that's how good it is. And the macaroni salad as well omg to die for .its a small location so it not like a restaurant but they make up for that in the food it's self the perfect take out spot in queens .I love it here Kept it up cause you guys are doing great see you tomorrow lol
Catfish is super fresh and delicious. Yams are a lil nutmeg heavy but good. Mac is on the softer side with lots of seasoning and not as gooey/cheesy. All depends on how you like your Mac if you will like it. But the seafood is the highlight for sure. It's a take out spot on an off street. Pull up, pick up, and enjoy.
We were visiting family and we ended up finding this place. Don't let the exterior fool you. The food was fenomenal. So good, there was no time for pictures. Mac and cheese was our favorite. Yams were so delicious and sweet, I'm craving as I'm writing. Fish and chicken flavor were also great. I read some reviews about their service and I have to completely disagree. They were super friendly and helpful. They let us try samples of the food and super welcoming. Also, easy to find parking! I highly recommend.
Just go! Yummy yum yum. Southern cuisine at its best. Everything I have tried at this place has been a treat to my taste buds! The cooks are two men who learned how to cook from watching adults and loving to cook themselves; naturals. The prices are very very affordable. Do give them a try... you won't regret it. It's a little "hole in the wall" of the main street (Merrick Road). Go early because they do run out of popular items, like those mouth watering string beans!
